Using technology to enhance teaching and learning in our classrooms and labs is a subject where we would like your feedback! Please join Information Technology Services and our colleagues at one of our Learning Spaces Forums to help us discuss and create a collaborative strategy for our classrooms and labs. We will have a team of representatives from the campus stationed around the room at topic areas to hear your feedback on five different Learning Spaces themes:
- Trends in Higher Education and Classroom Configurations
- Technology in the classroom at Appalachian and the future of classroom technologies
- Teaching with Technology
- Computer Labs at Appalachian and the future of labs
- Supporting teaching and learning with technology
The forums are scheduled for Thursday, January 23rd from 2:30 – 4:30 and Friday, January 24th from 10:00 – 12:00 in Room 201AB Blue Ridge Ballroom, Plemmons Student Union. (If you have any questions about these forums or topics, contact Tom Van Gilder at firstname.lastname@example.org)
There will be light refreshments at both of these forums. Faculty, staff and students are all welcome to attend. I look forward to seeing you there.
