Feedback from Learning Spaces Forums Held January 23 & 24

The following is a summary of the feedback we received at the IT Learning Spaces Forums held January 23rd and 24th. Faculty and staff from around campus braved the cold to join us and share their ideas and comments on classrooms, labs, and teaching with technology. The following is a summary of the feedback with a complete list in the file attached below.

Sharing and collaboration between students and faculty was a common theme. The ability to share information, move tables and desks around easily, good lighting and plenty of outlets were all mentioned as needed features in our classrooms.

Faculty asked for more training and support for video streaming, but expressed satisfaction overall with AsULearn, the Classroom podiums and our support structure.

There is excitement for how uDesk is helping our distance learning students and faculty access campus software. Many expressed interest for the potential for students and how the labs and library will be helped during peak usage times and times of inclement weather.

Thank you for those who participated and supported this process. We plan to repeat these forums later this spring (hopefully with warmer weather!) to share your ideas and give your feedback. Please email if you have any comments you would like to make. (For a complete list of the feedback, see the file attached below)
