IT Support Services Initiative - Getting Connected to uDesk

uDesk (formally known as AppVDI) is a way for faculty, staff and distance learning students to access the software that is available on campus without having to own the individual software packages. This software can be used on your personal computers, tablets or phones along with any of your saved documents on uStor.

There are detailed instructions on using uDesk on our support page. IT Support Services is also providing additional help with uDesk during the next few weeks. We are pleased to announce the Getting Connected with uDesk Initiative from August 20 – September 6. During this time the uDesk design team will be assisting us in providing extra help with uDesk questions.

For assistance with uDesk – please call our Help Desk at 828-262-6266 -Monday - Thursday from 8 am - 5pm, Friday 8 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 1 pm - 9 pm. (Note: Please choose option 1 from the menu during the hours of 8am-5pm Monday – Friday, choose option 2 after 5pm and on Sunday). You can also enter a support request.
