AsULearn is Appalachian's learning management system, built on the open source framework Moodle. The Moodle Academy recently held a webinar presenting some research about how Moodle may help reduce gender inequities. The research examined different ways Moodle is used across genders and provided some ideas around how it may promote increased use by gender minorities.
