App State faculty who taught during the Spring 2025 semester now have access to a Development (Dev) course in the university’s new learning management system, Canvas by Instructure.
These Dev courses provide a dedicated space to begin exploring Canvas, experiment with course design, and prepare for the upcoming transition. View the migration timeline for more details.
Academic and Emerging Technologies is providing ongoing professional development to assist with course preparation for migration, along with workshops focused on Canvas features and tools. The Dev courses pair well with these sessions and can support faculty members as they begin working in a Canvas environment.
Access
Log in to your Dev course at appstate.instructure.com using your university credentials.
If you do not see a Dev course, you can request one by submitting a Canvas Support Request at tech.appstate.edu. Dev courses are available to faculty only at this time.
